Purpose of JobWe are seeking a hardworking Bank Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Advisor I for our San Antonio, TX, or Charlotte, NC facility. This person may also work remotely in a 100% Remote Work Environment.

We are seeking a Bank Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Advisor I to lead the performance, independent validation and enhancement of external reporting data integrity. This entails conducting data quality testing over external reports submitted to Banking Regulators for the purposes of ensuring the accuracy and conformance with regulatory instructions of reports submitted to regulators. The Bank Regulatory Reporting QA function partners with key stakeholders to identify areas of regulatory reporting improvements, including identifying process enhancements.

Responsible for developing and conducting quality assurance activities around regulatory reports which are aimed at mitigating the risk of external reporting errors through additional independent review and validation. Ensure that the reports are prepared in accordance with regulatory instructions and quality standards are established in accordance with internal practices, risk and compliance policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.Job RequirementsAbout USAAUSAA knows what it means to serve.   • Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
  • Uses proficient knowledge to provide guidance in the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of moderately complex quality assurance/control programs, practices and policies.
  • Identifies and evaluates quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Administers quality assurance/control programs and communicates quality program decisions.
  • Schedules and facilitates training and administers training materials and events to meet quality requirements.
  • Briefs key stakeholders and management on quality assurance/control review results, trends, studies, and initiatives, and recommends courses of action.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and/or business and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.When you apply for this position, you will be required to answer some initial questions. - This will take approximately 5 minutes. - Once you begin the questions you will not be able to finish them later and you will not be able to change your responses.Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
    • Minimum of 4 years ' quality assurance, operations or process experience in regulatory reports in the financial services industry, or relevant work experience.
    • Previous experience working in a financial services environment. -
    • Demonstrated experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions.Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience completing and performing reviews of banking regulatory reports.
      • Experience performing analysis/reasonableness checks over data provided for regulatory reporting.
      • Experience in regulatory reporting and financial services industry

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
