Job Description:
Our client, a municipal government organization, is seeking a
dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join
their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an
essential part of the Public Services Department supporting
community engagement and administrative operations. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a
positive attitude, and attention to detail, which will help you
succeed and grow within the organization. Job Title: Temporary
Customer Service Representative (3 months- temporary) Location:
Pendleton, SC Pay Range: $18-19 Shift: 9 :00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday
through Friday What's the Job? Perform routine clerical and
administrative work in receiving the public and providing customer
assistance Handle cashiering duties, including collecting revenue
and balancing cash drawer Process data and maintain accurate
records in accordance with organizational policies Answer incoming
calls, route callers to appropriate departments, and provide
information as needed Communicate effectively with the public
regarding inquiries, payments, work orders, and complaints,
ensuring confidentiality What's Needed? High school diploma or GED
equivalent with coursework in office practices such as typing,
filing, and bookkeeping Working knowledge of computers and
electronic data processing systems Basic understanding of
accounting principles and practices Ability to perform cashier
duties accurately and handle stressful situations professionally
