Position Overview \n The Weaver position is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for operating and tending textile air jet looms using knowledge of machine functions to ensure that good quality fabric is made. This is a Day shift position that requires you work 12 hour shifts 8:00am to 8:00pm with rotating days and weekends. \n What you'll do \n \n Safely operate and monitor loom production per fabric style and yarn style. \n Ensure that looms are in good operating condition by periodically cycling/inspecting looms to detect any weaving defects. \n Work closely with the Loom Technician in order to improve quality and yield. \n Ensure selvedges are running per work instructions. \n Keep warm ends as straight as possible for optimum/quality yield. \n Remove any weft/warp ends and restart looms without weaving defects. \n Maintain cleanliness and safety of the area. \n All other duties as assigned \n \n Who you are \n \n Ability to push/pull occasionally 20-22 lbs \n Ability to work with limited supervision. \n Ability to perform standard body movements frequent standing and walking around and occasional forward bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing \n Ability to use visual acuity and hand-eye co ordination \n Ability to work in an environment where temperature varies in range \n Ability to work and keep pace in fast paced environment \n Ability to perform basic computer functions \n Ability to tolerate moderate to loud plant noise levels \n Ability to perform basic to intermediate math equations \n \n What's in it for you? \n \n \n \n Hourly base salary range: $17.00 \n Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability \n A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth \n Time off with pay \n 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching \n Paid parental leave \n Wellness programs and product discounts \n \n \n \n \n Please note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential. \n \n [LI-RT1] \n [LI-ONSITE] \n By submitting your application below, you are providing your prior consent to receive SMS messages to notify you of any updates to your application status and to engage in discussion throughout your application process.
