Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity offers a rewarding role for a Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) working within a vibrant K-12 educational setting
in Lexington, SC. The position is a contract assignment for the
current school year, providing the chance to make a meaningful
impact on students' communication development. Key
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and
communication disorders among K-12 students. Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' unique
needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with school
policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive
learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Certification
of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required. Valid state
licensure for school-based SLP service delivery. Experience working
in school settings serving children from kindergarten through 12th
grade. Strong communication skills and ability to engage
effectively with students, families, and staff. Commitment to
supporting diverse learners and accommodating individual needs.
Position Details: Location: Lexington, South Carolina Schedule: 35
hours per week, onsite Duration: Contract through the school year
ending May 29, 2026 Caseload and additional details to be provided
