are we searching for?We are offering an amazing opportunity for a
role where you will have a great deal of autonomy and variety. As
the Project Engineer, you will have control of your projects from
concept to prototype to production. As a contract manufacturer, our
clients often challenge us to use new materials and processes,
making this a great fit for someone who is self-directed and
looking to grow with a company.What you will be doing!
- Interacting with customers to obtain requirements and generate
estimates
- Collaborative design with customers and manufacturing personnel
at Composite Resources
- Leading project planning and design review meetings involving
several departments
- Producing CAD and drawings required for part and tooling
chain
- Generating production support documentation such as ply kits
and lamination instructions
- Specifying materials and generating BOMs
- Establishing and maintaining project timelines
- Monitoring project costs
- Supporting manufacturingWhat you will bring to the Team
- BS or MS in an Engineering Field, a PhD is not too much
(Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, other)
- 5-8 years of experience in composite design in aerospace or
manufacturing
- High-level user of SolidWorks or similar solid & surface
modeling software
- High-level user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and
schematics
- Detailed understanding of GD&T
- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Self-motivated with strong personal workload management
- Successful management of multiple projects, scheduling and
scoping
- Experience in mold design, DFM, fixturing, and work instruction
development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the
ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to function
