Comprehensive Benefits Offering Generous PTO 401(K) Job Details Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment using principles of robotics, machine vision, and sensors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define production requirements, identify potential manufacturing challenges, and develop innovative solutions. Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including process maps, equipment specs, and standard operating procedures. Oversee the installation, validation, and performance qualification of new manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules. Stay current with the latest developments in manufacturing technology and scientific instrumentation, and propose their application where relevant. Ensure all manufacturing processes and equipment comply with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the scientific or high-tech industry. Proven expertise in robotics, machine vision, and sensors. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost optimization. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex technical concepts. Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD and CAM systems, and programming languages such as Python or C++. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing in the scientific industry. Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
