PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a Fortune 500 company, is looking to hire Maintenance Mechanics to work in the Anderson, SC area. This long term/temp to hire roles won’t last long! Pay: 34-40/Hourly DOE (weekly pay) Shift: 1st shift - 7AM to 3PM Mon - Fri / Rotating Saturdays (Occasional OT depending on workload) Why You’ll Love This Job Keep It Running: Play a critical part in keeping our equipment and facility at peak performance. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnoses, repairs, replaces, adjusts, and monitors controls on chillers, air conditioning, temperature control units and associated components for various manufacturers. Repairs components and performs complex modifications of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components, including compressors, motors, pumps, fans, piping, transducers, flow switches, low pressure chillers, economizers, variable speed drivers, etc. Repair leaks, leak test & add Freon gas to build up prescribed operating pressure on all systems. Ensures mechanical systems are operating at peak efficiency by inspection equipment for operating efficiency and safety standards. Uses CMMS Maintenance System to document work order. Create, revise, and improve parts kits working with salary planner/scheduler to build part kits into CMMS. Keeps accurate record of downtime of plant equipment - Issues work requests for issues needing attention when equipment is down. Your Qualifications EPA section 608 certification (Universal) is required. 5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial Chillers Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed repair reports.
