The company expanded to Easley, SC in 2019 where they specialize in high-tech manufacturing metal parts, for industries like hydraulics, marine, energy, transportation, and conmers goods. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment, ensuring high-quality production, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate and perform all required checks in machining areas. Demonstrate understanding and ownership of Quality Assurance (QA) systems to ensure production standards are met. Manage tool life effectively and follow company procedures for tool maintenance and replacement. Power up designated machines safely after power loss or work stoppage conditions. Perform complete machine setups , including fixture plates, torque wrench settings, hand tools, gauging, and all required documentation for first-piece approval. Use internal and external measuring tools and devices accurately to maintain part specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure product accuracy. Follow a predetermined machine schedule to meet production goals efficiently and on time. Qualifications: Previous experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications. Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
