What You Will Be Doing As a FACO Supervisor at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Greenville, SC Campus , you will lead a skilled team responsible for the Final Assembly & Check Out of Block 70 F-16 Aircraft . Key Responsibilities - Supervise specific aircraft in a given manufacturing area, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policy. - Strategically set priorities and effectively allocate resources to support production schedules, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines to meet customer needs. - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of skilled Aircraft technicians, conducting regular performance evaluations, identifying development opportunities, and fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance. - Empowered as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, addressing their inquiries, needs, and concerns in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner. While elevating as necessary to gain support or guidance as necessary. - Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas, leveraging best practices, innovative solutions, and lessons learned to enhance overall performance and productivity. Basic Qualifications • 8 years Aircraft Maintenance or Manufacturing Experience Minimum • Associate degree or higher education • 6 years Leadership experience (Supervisor and/or Lead role) • Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues • Experience with business metrics (cost, schedule, KPIs, and quality) • Ability to work in an agile team based environment Desired skills • Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and publications. • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels. • Operate in a team environment. • Demonstrated skills with lean manufacturing techniques. • Well-rounded knowledge of Quality systems. • Strong organizational skills. • Manufacturing/production methodologies & Aircraft maintenance techniques. • BA degree or equivalent experience/combined education in related field of study. • Ability to energize the team and provide vision to meet deadlines. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
