Job Description:

Job Title: Technical Account Manager - OEM

Identify and develop opportunities into profitable business for Greiner Bio-One
Work with new potential customers to understand their technical challenges and utilize personal and company knowledge to configure a solution
Manage commercial accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability
Support in building and optimizing OEM Strategy (Custom plastics manufacturing for the biotechnology, diagnostics, drug development, in vitro analysis, and biological research fields)
Leverage technical knowledge and experiences to work efficiently at developing custom solutions for customers
Collaborate with cross functional, multi-national colleagues to develop business solutions and optimize existing business
Identify key customer profiles to target and drive new business
Manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities in various stages of business development
Maintain primary contacts for key OEM customers maximizing customer satisfaction, holding quarterly reviews and reporting results
Support Greiner Bio-One's manufacturing team with maintaining assets and maximizing profitability
Participate in other required technical sales activities as required

Utilize technical skills to bridge the gap between customer need and Greiner Bio-One capabilities
Lead and network with colleagues of all disciplines to drive projects
Manage customer interface and act as the voice-of-the-customer for internal teams
Create business and technical proposals, manage contracts, and negotiate pricing with the support of a broad team
Management of existing commercial business

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree required in science, technical, or medical technology.
Masters degree is preferred (business, science, technical, or medical technology).
5+ years within the field of medical devices, science, plastics, and / or blood collection.
Experience with using, developing, or selling medical products
Strong communication skills
Project / Program Management experience is beneficial
Ability to travel to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and other off site meetings with various schedules and possibly different time zones. (40% overnight travel)
Ability to pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend and move about a facility.
Some light physical effort required. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Ability to physically travel to customer sites with various schedules and possibly different time zones.
