The Director of Data Stewardship is primarily responsible for building the provider data strategy for Healthgrades, focusing on ensuring we use our provider data assets in the best way possible and driving the culture that powers the partnership between Data Science Medical Informatics, Engineering, and Web Product. The role is also responsible for contributing to the organizational strategy as a member of the leadership team in the healthgrades.com vertical. As a technical liaison, the role will need to collaborate with business and functional teams to determine the data stewardship strategy and solve business problems. This role will also be responsible for driving the direction of the Data Stewardship Team's growth and development.Where You'll BeTo prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health is prioritizing hiring employees who are able work from our Charlotte or Minneapolis office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. However, we are also open to remote workers.What You'll Do

  • Responsible for building a cross-team provider data strategy for Healthgrades, as well as aligning and building the capabilities of our resources with that strategy.
  • Build the culture that determines and drives the collaboration between data science and engineering. This is what makes up the data stewardship team, the people responsible for ensuring we are using all our data and technical resources in the best possible way
  • Drive the direction of the data stewardship team's growth and development.
  • Contribute to the organizational strategy as a member of the leadership team in the functional, product or industry groups.
  • Act as a technical liaison, collaborating with business and functional teams to determine data stewardship strategy to solve business problems.What We're Looking ForKey to the success of this role is the ability to drive data and relevant organizational strategy in a collaborative way with executive stakeholders. Equally important is being able to leverage subject matter expertise to educate those stakeholders, explaining trade-offs and the impacts of our business decisions. The subject matter expertise should include a broad knowledge in all areas of provider data including data access, manipulation, analysis, and the details of how healthcare services are delivered in the US..
    • Drives data strategy and relevant organizational strategy.
    • Collaborates and communicates with executive stakeholders, leveraging subject matter expertise to educate, explain trade offs and trends.
    • Broad knowledge in all areas of provider data, including: data access, manipulation, analysis, statistical modeling, and business acumen, with an ability to develop other data stewardship leaders in these areas.Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.       • Starting Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 (Eligible for a bonus)
