Job Description:

Your mission The role Reporting to Product & Commercial Marketing Leader, the Product Marketing Manager will play a strategic role for the development and profitable growth of the product line for the industrial business segments in North America. The mission is to devise and implement an effective product marketing and communication strategy to ensure all key stakeholders are engaged with Chicago Pneumatic at an optimum level: Research and Assessment:

* Review industrial market trends and competitive data to identify trends that will change the industry.

* Collaborate with management team and Product Company to identify targets and profitable growth.

* Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends.

* Identifies future product and customer needs and communicates the information to the Product Company team for new product development. Develop Strategy:

* Create an industrial channel expansion plan in collaboration with regional management and national account teams.

* Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique propositions and differentiators for value added proposition and best return on investments for our customers.

* Identify our market position within each product group, identifies market share, SWOT analysis in relation to our competitors' products and product placement.

* Analyze and advise on pricing strategy on a value-based model.

* Assist in reporting and business board preparation as required. Execute Plan:

* Enable and mentor sales organization to ensure effective plan execution; define and communicate on the industrial value added product proposition.

* Actively participate in operational business reviews and significantly contribute to the organization's ability to meet customer needs.

* Support field sales activity and end user engagement through the development of value added tools such as market mapping and industry investment alerts.

* Provide necessary training for key stakeholders technically, commercially and application based.

* Propose and implements a quarterly based promotional strategy.

* Define, develop and execute product plan through the product life cycle (launch, maturity, and decline)

* Provide application and product support to internal and external stakeholders

* Provide support to marketing and national account teams for distributor e-commerce activities including enhanced content and product master data.

* Provide support for social media and digital marketing - including tool launch schedule, trade show schedule and any information relevant to end users and customers Measure:

* Establish annual target and follow-up quarterly for each industrial product group.

* Evaluate and understand specific scorecards and create countermeasure to revert to positive trends.

* Monitors and critically evaluate the marketing mix of the respective market segments.

* Determine the effectiveness of the overall plan through continued relationship building activities with customers and partners, and modify as needed based on identified gaps. Skills and experience Technical Capability:

* Expert on industrial and MRO markets (metal fabrication / composites, oil & gas and power generation) and what drives sales.

* Effective capability with a laptop computer MS Office software, and SAP and CRM.

* Capable of performing professional presentations and demonstrations.

* Has basic knowledge about project management tools and methods.

* Capability to make creative solutions based on the product portfolio.

* Expert in setting up all products in the portfolio for optimal performance.

* Fulltime position.

* Willingness to travel 30%. Experience 5-7 years of experience in product marketing or sales in the industrial / MRO industry. Experience with customer relations management. Education Bachelor's Degree preferred Are we a good fit? Values:
