Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse preferred but not required.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Crisis Prevention required based on department.Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to perform job functions while standing. Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
