  • First-timers acceptedRN needed for South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC)*Will take care of LTC patients*Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offerShift: manager will accept: 3x12 or 4x12s, nights, 7p-7a EOW, holiday rotationRatios: *nurse/patient ratio 1:10-1:15, one nurse, 2 PCTYears of experience REQ: 1 yearFirst-timers accepted: yesCerts REQ: SC RN license or multi-state/Compact license, BLS, preferred-ACLSWill clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? yesOpen to accommodating block schedule??-per manager discretionLocals accepted: What is the local radius rule? yes, 50 milesRTO Restrictions: All RTO must be provided at time of submission, approval based on unit needsGuaranteed Hours: Traveler may be cancelled one shift per 2 weeksSpecial Requirements: may be required to float within the division (Chester/Lancaster)*will work in the department of corrections unit within the hospital*LTC care*This is a locked unit. 7-8 officers present. One runs the control booth, 6 are on the unit. Officers will be at the bedside during patient care and one watching through the window.
