Assists patients with personal hygiene, dressing, walking. Changes bed linens and assists with patient transportation to tests and procedures. May serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse.Additional Job DescriptionMinimum Education: -A high school diploma or GED required. At least one year of patient care experience in a health care facility or as CNA is preferred or currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree nursing program.Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must be current in the Nurse Aide Registry or a current nursing student required.
