Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Piedmont Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes
• Provide direct and indirect patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progressRequirements
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
  • Attends IV Therapy training and/or demonstrates competency in intravenous therapy within one year
  • Maintains competency and/or certification specific to departmental requirements
  • Must have current BCLS and ACLS certifications
  • Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s) encouragedPreferred Qualifications
    • Previous hospital experience preferred
    • Must have management and teaching ability
