Job Description:
Due to rapid expansion in all of our clinics, we are offering a
$6,000 sign on bonus. We are eager to be able to continue to serve
clients in our service areas and need you to make this happen! The
Director of Nursing - Primary Care is part of the person-centered
integrated care team and responsible for management functions
related to the primary care medical nursing services provided in
the assigned region of operation. This position supervises the
direct patient care nursing staff, clinical support staff, and
ancillary support staff. This is a Full-time, benefit eligible
position. The schedule is Monday - Friday, Day shift. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC Administration and management of clinical
support staff operations; maintain coordination of services and
communication among program components Ensure that all licensing
and accrediting body standards are followed (i.e. HRSA, , NCQA, ,
etc.) Oversee laboratory functions and ensure CLIA and OSHA
standards are followed and reported in accordance with regulatory
guidelines Oversee Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Applications,
sample meds, vaccines, including the VFC program and ensure that
documentation of medication-related activities are accurately
documented Order and maintain storage of necessary medications and
medical supplies in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Actively participate in compliance reviews, quality improvement,
risk management, and quality assurance teams Work directly with
Regional Medical Director to support daily operations, clinical
work flow, and administrative tasks Ensure that all incidents are
documented and reported Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and
training of nursing staff Ensure that staff members provide
excellent customer service, evidence-based clinical care, and
adherence to Compass Health Network Policies Work with CSR
supervisors and providers to ensure seamless and efficient clinic
flow for patients Implement and lead specific Primary Care Projects
as assigned by the Vice President of Primary Care Operation across
regions and update as needed Provide cross-departmental assistance
and leadership for nursing related activities as directed by the
Vice President of Primary Care Operations Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK Regular exposure to blood and/or
body fluids Regular exposure to biohazard waste materials
Associates degree in nursing required Bachelor's degree in nursing
preferred WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS At least
two (2) years of management experience in a medical outpatient
clinic setting required Working knowledge of medical outpatient
office processes, terminology, procedures and equipment required
Knowledge of electronic health records and Microsoft office
programs required LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION RN licensed in MO
required LPN licensure with a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare
related field may be considered for this position. Compass Health
