Pay Information $2,061 per week About The Position Job Title: Breast Oncology Surgical RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Breast Oncology Surgical License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Traveler Experience: First Time Travelers Accepted Outpatient Oncology Work Setting Skills Skills Required for Care of Patients with Breast Cancer Professional Knowledge in Isolation Precautions Telephone Triage and Post Surgical Care Skills Triage Skills Required Description: This position involves working in an outpatient oncology clinic. The nurse will perform office procedures such as port removals, breast biopsies, and wide local excisions. Team members will provide training for these procedures. All nurses will triage patient calls and communicate with patients in the clinic. Responsibilities include calling results to patients and providing patient education. This unit does not involve any infusions. Nurses may float to other clinics based on staffing needs. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A successful candidate will exhibit a high level of professionalism and compassion in patient care. Additional training will be provided as needed.
