Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our collaborative, CRNA-only anesthesia team in Chester, SC. This role offers the opportunity to practice independently at the top of your license in a supportive environment, focusing on a diverse mix of surgical procedures. Case Types: - Orthopedic (including upper and lower extremity surgeries) - Vascular (including AV fistulas, endovascular procedures) - Gastrointestinal (general abdominal cases) - Endoscopy Key Responsibilities: - Independently perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations - Develop and implement anesthetic plans tailored to patient needs - Administer regional, general, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) - Perform and manage all aspects of regional anesthesia including: - Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks - Spinals - Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery - Collaborate effectively with surgeons, proceduralists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care - Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program - Current certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA - Active and unrestricted South Carolina APRN license (or eligibility) - BLS and ACLS, certifications (or ability to obtain) - Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques is required - Minimum 1-2 years of CRNA experience Schedule & Compensation: - 50K Commencement Bonus - Full-time position - Monday–Friday schedule with no call, no holidays - Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), CME allowance, malpractice coverage) Why Join Us? - Work in a CRNA-led environment with full autonomy and clinical independence - Enjoy a supportive and collegial work culture - Live and work in the welcoming community of Chester, SC, offering small-town charm with easy access to Charlotte, NC, and Columbia, SC Chester, South Carolina, boasts plenty of quaint, small-town charm while still offering plenty of things to do.
