Cath Lab for a nursing job in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab -
Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours - Employment Type: Staff Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on
Eligibility Provide, promote and maintain quality patient care
during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through
education, standards of practice, professional growth, and
collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers.
Nights and Weekend Call is required. - Adjustment or Initiation of
Care Based on Patient’s Response to Procedures or Treatments -
Airway Maintenance - Position - Nasal/Oral Airway - Assist with
Induction, Intubation, and Emergence - Hemodynamic Monitoring of
Patient’s Condition - Management of the patient with: - Abdominal
Aortic Stent - Arterial & Venous Sheath/Line - Carotid Stent -
Central Line - Closure Devices - Coronary Artery Stent -
Endomyocardial Biopsy - IABP - Intravascular Ultrasound -
PTCA/Rotational Atherectomy - Pericardiocentesis - Peripheral
Angiography/Angioplasty - Peripheral Vascular Stent - Permanent
Pacemaker - Renal Stent - Swan-Ganz Catheter - Syncope -
Transvenous Pacemaker - Implantable Permanent Pacemaker/Automatic
Internal Cardiac Defibrillator/Loop Recorders - Transducer Pressure
Monitoring Set-Up - Monitoring of Patients Utilizing the Following
Types of Medications - Anti-Arrhythmic - Cardiac - Emergency -
Thrombolytic - Vasoactive - Moderate Sedation - Opening/Closing
Lab/ Room Set-Up/Turn Around - Operation of Specialized Equipment:
- Angiojet/Jet Stream - Centricity System to create CDs - i-STAT ·
Contrast Injectors - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps - IMPELLA - EKOS
System - Penumbra - Pronto aspiration catheter - Laser atherectomy
