Job Description Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility
/n Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates
with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient
care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
2503030621 /n Minimum Education: Associates degree in Nursing
required. Minimum Experience: One year experience as an RN
required. Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid
Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside
is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact
state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN
License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. American
Heart Association BLS CPR required. American Heart Association ACLS
and PALS within orientation. ONS certification preferred. /n 1.
Completes and documents initial nursing assessment within specified
time frame. 0 2. Assesses patient as ongoing process utilizing
physician and psychosocial input and documents in the chart. 0 3.
Initiates and documents a written plan of care within specified
timeframe 0 4. Evaluates care given to patient and redirects plan
as necessary. 0 5. Indicates evaluation as an ongoing process in
the medical record. 0 6. Updates written care plan to reflect
current patient status as an ongoing process. 0 7. Participates in
meeting the health care educational needs for the patient and
family. 0 8. Determines educational needs of patient and family
through daily assessment. 0 9. Develops and documents plan of
education on written care plan. Alters educational plan as
patient’s condition changes. 0 10. Reflects teaching and
patient/family level of understanding with documentation throughout
hospitalization. 0 11. Coordinates care with other health
professionals. 0 12. Carries out physician’s treatment plan
continuously. 0 13. Displays ability and willingness to respond to
the needs of other health team members as needed. 0 14. Performs
patient interventions completely and proficiently and demonstrates
age specific competency for population of patients served. 0 15.
Prioritizes activities and adjusts assignments according to changes
in patient’s needs. 0 16. Provides appropriate treatment in
emergency situations as they arise. 0 17. Verifies, during
hospitalization, orders for accuracy (including reconciliation of
medications), appropriate scheduling of tests and/or procedures,
pre-op data, and consent forms. 0 18. Follows medication and IV
Therapy policies including patient identification, understanding
about medications, administering meds and recognizing/reporting
interactions 100% of the time. Appropriately monitors first dose
medication(s) for adverse reactions. 0 19. Interprets diagnostic
data and takes appropriate action when indicated (i.e. notification
of critical lab values to physician per hospital protocol). 0 20.
Practices infection control in all actions. 0 21. Executes legible
writing with correct spelling in documentation 100% of the time. 0
22. Completes all assignments, according to established standards
of care and within given time frame. Employment practices will not
