Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Start peripheral IV for venous and arterial phase scanning - Multi-phase scanning - Stroke imaging, to include perfusion - Colorectal studies - TeraRecon knowledge preferred, not required Description: The CT Technologist will perform CT scans and related procedures. The facility offers various imaging services, including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology. The average inpatient census is around 400 patients. The department performs an average of 130 studies per day, with higher volumes on weekdays. The CT department provides CT-guided invasive procedures when necessary. It also conducts cardiac CT imaging during the day shift, seven days a week. The role will require the use of advanced imaging technology and patient care skills. Assist in ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Coverage includes both inpatient and outpatient services. Knowledge of the EMR, RIS, and PACS systems is essential for the role. The job entails collaboration with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols is crucial in this position. The technologist should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment. Black scrubs are required for this position.
