Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid SC license or Compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Charge Nurse Experience Description: Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse. Shift: 4x12s or 3x12s, Nights, 7PM - 7AM. Ratios will be based on acuity. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. On-call requirement: No. Floating may be required within scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Charge Nurse experience is a must. Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis. RTO restrictions apply; all RTO must be included at the time of submission. The facility allows for calling off one shift per two weeks. Total staffed beds are 97. Scrub color is royal blue. Charting is done through Epic. Daily visits can reach approximately 80. The patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The patient population presents diverse care needs. Holiday rotation will be required as needed. Module hours are non-billable and completed pre-start. All candidates must possess a reliable and current RN license. Candidates must understand the facility's hurricane protocol during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. All application details must be accurate for consideration. Leave time planned must not interfere with pre-start compliance. Non-local candidates are prioritized.
