HealthGrades. Position Summary: St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis is
seeking a Medical Director for the Hospitalist Medicine Program.
The Medical Director is responsible for directing the effective
overall operation of the hospitalist medicine program of St. Luke's
Hospital (St. Luke's), providing quality care for the patients
served by St. Luke's. In addition to inpatient medical care, the
role is responsible for designing and leading standardization for
appropriateness of care delivery across the clinical settings and
nursing units to drive quality, efficiency and service excellence.
This will be achieved by creating and promoting a culture of
continuous process improvement and driving innovative approaches to
achieve a patient-centered, service-oriented delivery system in a
cost- effective manner. Education, Experience, & Licensing
Requirements: Education: MD/DO, MBA/MHA Preferred, but not
required. Experience: 5 years of physician leadership experience
required, hospitalist experience required. Licensure: Board
Certified: Unrestricted Medical license to practice medicine in the
