healthcare opportunity is available for a Radiology Technologist
skilled in imaging and radiologic technology. This contract
position in Waxhaw, NC offers the chance to work within a
high-volume teaching hospital recognized for its Trauma Level IV
designation, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. The facility is
equipped with advanced technology including Siemens and GE
equipment and utilizes EPIC EMR to support highly efficient patient
care. Candidates will primarily work a 12-hour day shift with a
weekend rotation, specifically covering Saturdays, Sundays, and
Mondays from 8 AM to 8 PM. The role involves performing imaging
duties across multiple modalities, supporting emergency, inpatient,
and outpatient departments with a patient volume averaging 325
cases daily. Radiologic Technologists with at least one year of
experience are encouraged to apply, including those who have not
traveled previously. Qualifications/Desired Experience: At least 1
year of experience as a Radiology Tech or related modality.
Relevant certifications including BLS and ARRT credentials
depending on modality (e.g., ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), NMTCB, ARDMS).
Ability to operate advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced
environment. Photo ID required during compliance process. NC State
Licensure not mandatory for this role. Responsibilities: Conduct
radiologic imaging and assist with patient diagnostics. Collaborate
with nursing and transport departments. Adhere to patient-centered
care standards within a team-oriented setting. Participate in
orientation including online courses and a 3-5 day departmental
training. Work scheduled shifts with expectations to cover
approximately 75% of holidays. Location: Waxhaw, NC, is a charming
