Job Description Tenet South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing for a nursing job in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Director of Nursing - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Staff /n Director of Behavioral Services Position Summary: /n Responsible for the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned department in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital Plan for the Provision of Patient Care. Implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of care delivered. Has administrative responsibility for psychiatric program development within the Department of Nursing. Responsible for determining annual budget for department. Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Piedmont Medical Center strategic plan. Master’s degree required in nursing, business administration or other related field. /n Minimum Experience: Experience in managing psychiatric inpatient and outpatient programs in an acute care facility including at least 2 years of experience in the specialty area is required. Management experience is required. /n Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.
