Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics The Registered
Respiratory Therapist delivers specialized respiratory services to
children, adhering to physician directives and evaluating the
effectiveness of treatments. This role necessitates a licensed
professional with the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
and involves the use of various respiratory care equipment in a
clinical environment. The position provides numerous benefits and

patient care across all facets of respiratory therapy, in
accordance with physician instructions. The therapist will also
consult with physicians regarding the effectiveness of treatments
and serve as an advanced resource for both medical staff and
nursing teams on respiratory matters. Additional responsibilities
will be assigned as needed. Position Details: Qualifications
Education: Completion of a Respiratory Care program accredited by
CoArc. Licensure: Must fulfill state licensing requirements and
possess a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Experience: No prior experience required. Certifications: Must hold
the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working in
the Emergency Room, PALS certification is required. Physical
Demands: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, pinch up to
10 lbs, and perform minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Equipment Used: All relevant respiratory care devices. Preferred
Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Experience: Critical care experience is advantageous. Why
