Opportunity – Progressive Care Nurse – North Carolina Start Date:
December 1, 2025 Location: Asheville, North Carolina Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Every other
weekend required; 4:1 patient ratio at grid, 5:1 stretched; Day and
night shifts available Highlights: 44-bed Progressive Care Unit
specializing in neuro and trauma patient populations Comprehensive
case mix including chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar
drains, feeding tubes, and blood transfusions Cerner EMR system
with advanced monitoring equipment including IV pumps, Skylifts,
and patient lifts Collaborative unit with dedicated charge nurses,
CNAs, and unit coordinators on every shift Floating opportunities
to stepdown and med-surg units for diverse clinical experience
Professional environment with standardized dress code and
structured staffing grids Requirements: Active and unencumbered RN
license in North Carolina Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
certifications (required) Neuro and trauma care experience required
Proficiency with neurological assessments, spinal checks, C-collar
placement, and TLSO brace application Experience managing complex
