Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – North Carolina
Start Date: August 20, 2025 Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants (sign-on or
relocation bonus available) Schedule: Every other weekend;
scheduling meets the needs of the department Highlights: Work in a
101-bed Emergency Department at a nationally recognized facility
with an 'A' Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade Serve as a regional
referral center for Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke care, and
Level III NICU services Typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical
cases, with support from techs, unit clerks, and specialized
cardiac monitoring staff Utilize Cerner documentation system and
state-of-the-art equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
Join the region's only children's hospital with pediatric
subspecialty services Work in a high-volume emergency department
serving over 100,000 annual visits Requirements: Active North
Carolina RN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at
least 1 year in an emergency room setting ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC,
CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date ENPC
certification required within 90 days of hire Level II trauma
center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
