Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week Shifts from 1:00 AM to 5:15 AM and 12:00 PM night before on-call Responsibilities: Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth and safe procedures Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, anticipating needs and responding promptly Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately Desired Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and instrumentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and maintain composure in high-pressure situations This contract role is perfect for a dedicated nursing professional seeking to apply specialized skills in a dynamic clinical environment.
