Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/25/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a critical care unit License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS; CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience after orientation completion Description: Responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. Experience with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures is preferred. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills in a high-pressure situation. Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 2:1 with occasional 1:1 based on needs. Equipment utilized includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Cerner. Patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics.
