Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,780 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Neuroscience RN – North Carolina Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights: Primary neuroscience unit specializing in stroke care, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and subdural hematomas 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with daily census of approximately 50 patients Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, and rapid response teams 13-week contract with 36-hour orientation period Floating required to other Med-Surg/Telemetry areas based on unit needs Comprehensive training provided for specialized neuroscience procedures and monitoring Requirements: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of direct Medical-Surgical experience required Previous travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers will not be accepted Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license Epic charting system experience required Current certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) ACLS certification preferred Skills required: IV start, telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Med-Surg neuro experience Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized neuroscience unit caring for a diverse patient population including stroke, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury patients.
