CT Tech Location: Salisbury, NC Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 9 hours Contract Duration: 22 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cath Lab Technologist Salisbury, NC The Cath Lab Technologist supports a combined Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, and EP lab, with the majority of procedures in Interventional Radiology. This role requires strong scrub and circulating experience and the ability to assist providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment. Position Details Industry: Healthcare / Health Services Category: Medical / Health Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist / Cath Lab Tech Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Location: Salisbury, NC 28144 Schedule: Day Shift, Monday Friday, 07:30 16:00 (5 8-hour shifts) Contract Length: 13 20 weeks Employment Type: Full-time, contract/travel Technologists start directly on the unit and complete required system training (e.g., Dimensions) after onboarding. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular, and EP procedures. Scrub and circulate for Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab cases. Support telemetry monitoring during procedures as assigned. Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields according to protocol. Assist with pacemaker and ICD implant procedures. Respond to urgent and emergent cases, including STEMIs and other time-sensitive interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit policies and protocols. Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and other team members during regular and call coverage. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience. Interventional Radiology experience required (approximately 90% of cases). Demonstrated scrub, circulate, and telemetry experience in procedural areas. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. ARRT or RCIS certification. Traveler experience not required; local candidates accepted. Preferred Qualifications EKG lead placement experience. ARRT advanced certification. RCES or RCIS with relevant medical/procedural experience. Candidate Profile Experience: 2 to 5 years. Seniority Level: Mid-Senior. Management Experience: Not required. Minimum Education: Associate s Degree (Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related). Willingness to Travel: Always (travel or local contract).
