Emergency Medical Technician Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,355 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-hospital care License: North Carolina Paramedic Certification Certifications: ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/ITLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. One year of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent. Must be over 21 years old. Two years of satisfactory driving experience to meet established insurance guidelines. Description: Number of trucks: 14 peak. Number of staff: 110. Type of staff: Day Shift: 8 CCT/ALS/BLS, 1 Wheelchair. Mid-Shift: 6 CCT/ALS/BLS, 1 Wheelchair. Night Shift: 7 CCT/ALS/BLS, 1 Wheelchair. Patient ratios: 1 patient per transport. All levels of service provided (wheelchair, behavioral health, BLS, ALS, and critical care). Type of equipment: Zoll cardiac monitors, Baxter and Alaris IV pump. EMR: ESO. Typical procedures performed: IV insertion, medication administration. Best personality fit: Flexible, friendly. Floating areas include behavioral health transport and may work wheelchair van or BLS van depending on scheduled transports and staffing needs. Uniform is provided.
