Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,997 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience is required. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: Recent ICU experience is required. Skills in IV start, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, titration of cardiac drips, use of rapid response teams, feeding tube management, and heparin protocols are essential. Description: We are seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse for the ICU. The ideal candidate must have recent ICU experience. The position involves caring for critically ill patients with conditions such as DKA, sickle cell, sepsis, respiratory distress, pneumonia, and heart failure. The nurse will maintain a patient ratio of 1:4. The role requires floating to Med-Surg as needed with a 1:6 patient ratio. The unit's equipment includes BiPAP, CPAP, and Optiflow. Candidates must be comfortable with a variety of procedures such as telemetry monitoring and wound care. The schedule will include 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Required skills include care of ventilated patients and management of vasoactive drips. Weekend shifts are mandatory with at least 4 shifts within a 6-week schedule. All missed shifts should be made up within the same week if possible. This unit functions as a rapid response unit and requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
