Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Participate in advanced cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic Cath Lab setting located in Gastonia, NC. This contract opportunity involves working in a state-of-the-art hospital environment renowned for comprehensive cardiac and vascular care with four cardiac and three vascular procedure rooms. This role demands proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures, supporting complex patient cases ranging from acute cardiac events to advanced vascular interventions. Key Responsibilities: Perform cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures including angiograms, TAVR, Watchman device placements, and various endograft surgeries. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including vascular surgeons, nurses, and emergency response groups to ensure high-quality patient care. Manage equipment such as Philips, GE, and Siemens imaging systems, Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitors, and Omnicell medication dispensers. Adhere to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate electronic medical records in EPIC and PACs. Participate in weekend and on-call rotations to provide continuous coverage, including holiday shifts as required. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum one year of Cath Lab experience with expertise in vascular procedures including endografts (EVAR, TEVAR). Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or RCIS preferred. Experience working in Interventional Radiology or alongside vascular surgeons highly preferred. Ability to function effectively in high-pressure clinical settings. Travel candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles outside the home unit radius.
