Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,220 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - RN License - BLS Certification Description: The facility is recognized as one of the best hospitals in the nation for providing high clinical quality. It has achieved national recognition for safety and quality healthcare practices. The hospital has earned the prestigious Magnet Designation, distinguishing it for nursing excellence. The oncology unit has 24 beds and a dedicated staff. Patient ratios are 1:4 or 1:5. Standard equipment is used in the unit, and electronic medical records are maintained. Candidates must be team players with a willingness to learn. Chemo certification is preferred. Basic hospital policies and guidelines will be followed. Staff may be required to work weekends, with a commitment to ongoing training and skill development. The dress code for RNs is navy and white or a combination of both colors.
