Job Description:
Southern Health Partners is currently seeking a dedicated
Certified Medication Aide to join our innovative team. This role is
critical in delivering high-quality care and ensuring the safe
administration of medications to our patients within correctional
facilities. You will be part of a unique healthcare environment,

Administer daily medication to patients as prescribed by the
medical staff Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications
and report any issues to healthcare providers Maintain detailed and
accurate patient records including medication dispensation Educate
patients on proper medication usage and possible side effects
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the
facility Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and correctional
officers to ensure effective patient care delivery Strong
understanding of medication dosages, interactions, and
administration protocols Excellent organizational skills and
attention to detail Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of medical records software Certified
Medication Aide (CMA) certification mandatory Basic Life Support
(BLS) certified or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of
employment
