Job Description Neuro-Oncology opening in North Carolina Located
in Greenville, NC - Raleigh 86mFull-time, EmployedSeeking an
experienced BE/BC fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist. *
Established neuro-oncology program* Growing clinical neuroscience
team inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained
cerebrovascular specialists and 20 neurologists including an
interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4
neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. * The
subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement
disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative
monitoring and neuro-oncology.* Join an established
multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in neurology,
neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation
oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology. * Medical Center
proudly earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Brain
Tumor Care in the fall of 2024. * State of the art care for
patients in eastern North Carolina through a cancer care network of
university faculty and hospital employed physicians in a hub and
spoke model of care.* Medical Center offers an array of
comprehensive brain tumor interventions, supported by
state-of-the-art technology like GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife
radiosurgery, Cyberknife radiosurgery as well as innovative
clinical trials that improve brain tumor knowledge, treatments and
outcomes* 24-bed NSICU led by Neurointensivists as well as a 75-bed
CARF accredited rehabilitation center providing inpatient and
outpatient support to neurology patients* Established clinical
trials program * Ability to participate in the teaching and
mentorship of hematology oncology fellows and neurology residents
