Job Description:
HCA Healthcare, a prominent leader in the healthcare sector, is
seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our
Spine and Trauma team on a PRN (pro re nata, or 'as needed') basis.
This role is pivotal in providing top-tier, patient-centered care
in our advanced spine and trauma units. As a part of our
professional nursing team, you will work directly with a
multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering the best in trauma
care while continuously upholding our mission to care for and
improve human life. Nurses in this role must be adept at balancing
high intensity scenarios with compassionate patient interactions.
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on
the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient
health and progress while prepping and administering medications as
directed by the healthcare provider. Record and maintain accurate
patient medical histories and documentation. Collaborate with other
team members to facilitate holistic care that enhances patient
outcomes. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans
and prevention strategies following discharge. Support departmental
functions and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in maintaining accurate healthcare records Capability
to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current LPN licensure in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
