nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing
job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements -
Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:
12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes:
/n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A
minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is
required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks.
Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial
assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN
- Cardiovascular Surgery /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through
Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM /n• Stay late 1-2 times per week as
needed /n• Work in CV PreOp unit with 4 beds maintaining 1:1
patient ratios /n• Float within scope of practice and experience
/n• Critical care experience required, PreOp experience preferred
/n• Must be experienced traveler - no first-time travelers accepted
/n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Must demonstrate
excellent documentation skills and ability to work independently in
fast-paced, high-acuity environment /n• Utilize GE Carescape
monitoring equipment and Cerner documentation system /n• Perform
large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication
administration, and skin assessments /n• Assist with arterial line,
central line, and epidural placement /n• Transport patients to OR
and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin
preparation /n• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
including RNs, CNC, secretary, and manager /n• Must possess strong
critical thinking skills and excellent communication abilities /n•
