ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM • Stay late 1-2 times per week as needed • Work in CV PreOp unit with 4 beds maintaining 1:1 patient ratios • Float within scope of practice and experience • Critical care experience required, PreOp experience preferred • Must be experienced traveler - no first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Must demonstrate excellent documentation skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity environment • Utilize GE Carescape monitoring equipment and Cerner documentation system • Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments • Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement • Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin preparation • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team including RNs, CNC, secretary, and manager • Must possess strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication abilities • Uniform provided Facility: This flagship healthcare facility is licensed for 815 beds and serves as the region's premier medical center.
