Job Description IDR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab RN – Travel Assignment Boone, North Carolina 13-Week Contract | 4x10 Day Shifts | 40 Hours per Week Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a cardiovascular catheterization laboratory. This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and requires strong procedural nursing skills, hemodynamic monitoring, and experience providing moderate sedation. The Cath Lab RN will collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient cardiac procedures while delivering high-quality patient care throughout the procedural process. Schedule - 4x10 Hour Day Shifts - 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Monday–Friday with a rotating weekday off - Call required - 40 hours per week guaranteed Responsibilities - Circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures - Administer and monitor moderate sedation - Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care - Monitor hemodynamics and patient status during procedures - Maintain sterile technique and assist physicians during interventions - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Requirements - Active RN License (North Carolina or Compact) - BLS certification (AHA) - ACLS certification (AHA) - Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience - Prior travel experience required - Experience circulating in the Cath Lab - Experience administering moderate sedation - Recent Epic EMR experience Additional Details - Navy or white scrubs required - Candidates must live greater than 40 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler - Drivers license required for address verification - COVID vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered) Cath Lab RN – 4x10 day shifts with call. 13-week assignment. Requires BLS, ACLS, NC or Compact RN license, Epic experience, moderate sedation skills, and prior Cath Lab travel experience.
