Job Description Join Wake Forest Emergency Providers as an
Emergency Physician in Albemarle, North Carolina—part of Advocate
Health , one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in
the country. Wake Forest Emergency Providers, affiliated with
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest School of
Medicine, delivers high-quality emergency care across Hospital
Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments
throughout the Greater Charlotte Market and Central and Northwest
North Carolina. Our physicians practice in settings that offer a
strong sense of community and teamwork, while benefiting from the
clinical resources, academic collaboration, and innovation of a
leading nonprofit health system. HIGHLIGHTS Atrium Health Stanly
Emergency Department 12-hour shifts w/ Physician-led scheduling
Physician compensation range: $220 - $250/hour Additional
compensation available for a nocturnist position 24-bed Emergency
Department with modern resources and treatment spaces Dedicated
behavioral health holding area within the ED for safe, specialized
patient management Annual ED visits: 20,000 – 40,000; Steady
patient flow with diverse clinical exposure 3 APP shifts daily,
deliver 30-36 hours of APP support Attached community hospital with
comprehensive inpatient services, including: Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) – Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) – Surgery – Orthopedics –
Gastroenterology (GI) – Cardiology – Inpatient Behavioral Health
EPIC EMR Be part of an integrated nationally recognized
organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service
line Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable
care for all patients TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Emergency
Medicine Board Certified / Board Eligible North Carolina Medical
License (or eligibility) BENEFITS Sign-on bonus and relocation
