Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 05/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: May 10, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Hickory, NC. Details - Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 355-bed acute care hospital affiliated with Duke Lifepoint Health - Facility is home to dedicated Heart Center, Brain Center, Cancer Center, Lung Center, and other specialty programs - Various patient populations served - Cerner EMR - 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Every other weekend required - Float requirements within clinical scope per facility policy - 13-week contract Requirements - Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required - Current BLS and ACLS required (RQI certifications are not accepted) - License required if applicable - Social Security number required for consideration - Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information - Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments - Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families - Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharges, and referrals - Educate patients and families appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances - Scrubs provided - Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate - Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible - Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible American Traveler Job ID P-683399.
