registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal
for experienced RNs skilled in stepdown nursing care, ready to
provide high-quality patient-centered services in a dynamic
clinical environment. Situated in the Bessemer City area, this
contract position offers a chance to work within a reputable

Key Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum 18 months of PCU
RN experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proficiency in managing tracheostomies, chest tubes, cardiac drips,
central lines, and blood products Skilled in cardiac rhythm
interpretation, wound care, and dressing changes Comfortable with
telemetry monitoring and EMR systems such as EPIC Ability to work
independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients with varied
diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, stroke, respiratory
illnesses, diabetes, and more Maintain patient ratios generally at
1:4, occasionally up to 1:5 depending on acuity Collaborate with
CNAs, charge nurses, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and
intensivists for comprehensive care Utilize technology including
EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicelo medication dispensing, and Phillips
monitors efficiently Adhere to department protocols while floating
within the regional network as required, ensuring flexible and
responsive nursing care Participate in orientation with facility
and department-specific training to seamlessly integrate into the
care team Schedule & Work Environment: Weekend rotation every other
weekend No call responsibilities Coverage expected for
approximately 75% of holidays with approved time off policies in
place Navy scrub color with free on-site parking Family-oriented
