Mammography Tech - (Mam - Mammo Tech) StartDate: ASAP Available
Shifts: 9.5 D Pay Rate: $1967.00 - $2027.00 Certifications
Required: Current ARRT Mammography certification. Per MQSA
Standards: Documentation: Must have initial 40 hours of training in
Mammography, Current in continuing education for Mammography, Up to
date on numbers in Mammography (200/2 years), 8 hours digital mammo
training and 8 hours digital tomosynthesis training. Any documents
missing will result in this training be done onsite before
performing mammograms on patients. BLS certification. Procedures
performed on unit: Stereotactic biopsies, Pre-surgical
localizations, Contrast Enhanced Mammography. Must have: Screening
mammogram experience, competent in additional imaging views such as
magnification and spot compression views. Experience in advanced
mammography imaging and fully confident/competent with
demonstrating and showing radiologists complicated mammographic
cases. Certifications: ARRT (R) and (M) Mammography Patient Ratios
: Avg 38 patients per day screening mammograms. 18/day diagnostic
Unit staffing description- Large breast center with average of 10
techs on site per day Type of equipment : GE Senographe Pristina
Documentation system: Cerner, Penrad Scheduling requirements: M-F
9:00-17:30. Saturdays 8016:30 as needed Floating policy: Required
to float to other breast centers if needed Patient Experience
requirements: Experience working in a women’s imaging center.
Mindful of women that have a history of cancer and treatment
including lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation Required
Qualifications Mammography Technologist, Mammography Licenses:
RAD-NC Certifications: BLS-AHA; R-ARRT SSN Required DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
Certifications Required: Current ARRT Mammography certification.
