Perfusionist Location: Greenville, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $5,286 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Perfusionist Profession: Perfusionist Specialty: Perfusionist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Perfusion License: Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must be able to independently assist in ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Must have experience with SPECTRUM PUMP, Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC. Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience. No first-time travelers are accepted. Description: The position requires the ability to work 5 days a week. Candidates must be comfortable operating in fast-paced emergent cardiac cases. Experience in ECMO transport is essential. The candidate should have experience in CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma Level 1. Skills required include Adult Respiratory/Cardiac Arrest, Pediatric Respiratory/Cardiac Arrest, Aortic Valve Replacement, Ascending Aorta Cannulation, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Axillary Cannulation, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral Cannulation, MAZE Procedure, Mitral Valve Replacement, PDA ligation, Pericardial window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), ASD/VSD Repair, and ECMO. Additional skills include Adequacy of Perfusion, Blood Conservation Techniques, Extracorporeal Circuit Components for Cardiopulmonary Bypass, I-STAT, Organ Transplantation, Patient Monitoring, Point of Care Testing, Systemic Hypothermia, Acid-Base Management, Anticoagulation, Cardioplegia, Flow Rates, Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest, Initiation of CPB, Left Heart Bypass, Massive Air Embolus, Oxygenator Failure, Management of Power Failure, Set-up/Priming of Equipment, Temperature Management, Ultrafiltration, Weaning/Resumption of Natural Circulation, Extra Corporeal Life Support (ECLS), Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Autologous Blood Salvage. Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols. Experience with HIPEC, ECPR, ECPella, and Shock Team is preferred.
