ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Assist, direct, instruct, and check on assigned group of
departmental employees in all phases of their work.
Manage the movement of personnel to ensure production goals are met
in all areas and optimize productivity
Track and approve personnel time in Kronos
Ensure that all procedures are followed to meet company objectives
which include safety, right-first-time and forecast and research,
propose and implement improvements to these areas using CI
tools.
Lead and teach process audits, standard work events, PSRs, and
other CI tools with assigned team members
Drive safety engagement by motivating department personnel to write
SAFE cards and report all incidents, entering incidents into Engage
in a timely manner, leading diverse teams to identify the root
cause, and driving countermeasures to completion.
Drive the use of plant standard boards to maintain clean work areas
and equipment
Identify and refer disciplinary and other supervisory problems and
matters to designated supervision
Assist supervision with employee reviews and reprimands
Maintain approved levels of supplies
Work from batches, schedules, and instructions to plan and lay out
work for assigned group
Perform minor scheduling actions in MPT and EBS transactions
NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Perform other duties as required or directed
REQUIREMENTS:
General high school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience
Must be able to drive an overhead crane and IME
