Sterile Set-Up Operator (8-hr Shifts) VACANCIES:

• 2nd shift (2pm to 1030pm) on 5-day pattern (Mon-Fri)
• 3rd shift (10pm to 630am) on 5-day pattern (Sun Night to Friday Morning) COMPENSATION: $22.55 (2nd shift) and $23.58 (3rd shift) EDUCATION / PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum (6) months of manufacturing Machine Operation experience
  • Exposure to a pharmaceutical filling or packaging machinery and workspace, preferable
  • Experience in applying sound technical abilities in manufacturing setting
  • Ability to speak, understand and write English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE: Operate and maintain the Sterile machinery in the Production Clean Room. Additionally, assist in providing hands-on support for potential troubleshooting measures, training of new hires and recommendations for continuous improvement measures concerning the equipment and processes. Help with achieving department deliverables and objectives. Potential duties/responsibilities could include (but are not limited to):
    • Operate the Sterile wash-line and packaging machines in an ISO Class 7 Cleanroom requiring full-gown attire, to include, hood, goggles, sterile jumpsuit, gloves and booties
    • Adhere to all instructions guiding the correct behavior for inside and outside the Cleanroom to mitigate the risk of particles and contamination
    • Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Support Sterile Set-Up Operator(s) II and III with modifications of machines to make specification adjustments, when/where applicable
    • Support Sterile Set-Up Operator(s) II and III with machine changeovers, with a special focus on replacing and cleaning necessary parts
    • Assist with Production line diagnostics, repairs and/or maintenance
    • Monitor machines during operations to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and safety, while reacting to potential alarms or deviations; make adjustments when/where applicable
    • Verify set-up parameters on the applicable forms, ex; MPS
    • Document downtime and Production activity in record logs
    • Support technical training and development of new hires
    • Maintain a clean workspace and perform all environmental cleaning requirements
    • Perform routine cleaning of machines, as required
    • Apply LEAN methodology to all roles and responsibilities
    • Help promote/implement new concepts of IMSU/EHS in area of responsibility, while adhering to all safety policies and regulations
    • Follow cGMP and adhere to all ISO and safety guidelines and policies OTHER INFORMATION:
      • Work Setting - ISO Class 7 Clean Room setting with moderate noise. Temperature controlled. Full-gowning required (hood, goggles, booties, sterile jumpsuit, gloves)
      • Hours of Work and Wages:
        • 1st Shift (6am to 230p) on 5-day pattern (Mon - Fri) earning $20.50 per hour
        • 2nd Shift (2p to 1030p) on 5-day pattern (Mon - Fri) earning $22.55 per hour ($20.50 plus 10%)
        • 3rd Shift (10p to 630a) on 5-day pattern (Sun - Fri) earning $23.58 per hour ($20.50 plus 15%)
